Our America 250 & Revolutionary War Exhibits are located in the Visitor's Center.
In the Visitors Center:
Sarah Treadwell: Connecticut Mom, American Patriot: Honors a local woman who supported her family’s active role during the American Revolution, highlighting the often-overlooked contributions of women during the period.
Local Patriots & Loyalists of the American Revolution: Learn about those who were for and against the Revolutionary War in this exhibit that features people from the Weston/Fairfield, Wilton/Norwalk and Ridgefield.
Weston Middle School 8th Grade: Selections from the "Weston America 250 Art Show": Thirteen talented young artists were selected to display their oil paintings depicting Weston and Connecticut history during the 1700s and early 1800s. Thank you to Weston Middle School art teacher, Ms. Mary Reamer.
Weston Middle School 8th Grade: Declaration of Independence Storybook Project: Read eight selections from the WMS 8th Grade storybook project, where students have created pictures books explaining the Declaration of Independence. Thank you Weston Middle School history teacher, Ms. Shawna Johnson.
In the historic Coley Barn:
Weston at Work: Come explore the history of agriculture, manufacturing, and textile production in Weston and Connecticut in the new, interactive exhibit, “Weston at Work”. Children can card wool, weave on a loom, use a rope and pulley to raise a hay bale and more!
In the Historic Coley House:
Guided Tour - Life in the 1940s:Take a guided tour of the award-winning Coley House, the only historic house in CT brought back to reflect life during the 1940s. Explore how the Coley family lived, worked and played while on the home front during World War II.
Stroll through the Daniel E. Offutt, III Sculpture Garden on our glorious 3.7 acre property.
