The Weston estate of the late Alice DeLamar is one of our community's historic gems. Alice, a storied heiress, was known for her exquisite taste, broad knowledge and enormous generosity. She was a significant patron of the arts.

The Friends of the Weston Library and the Weston History & Culture Center are delighted to host former Westonite Nona Footz, author of the new biography, A Mansion of Her Own, The Mysterious Life of Heiress Alice DeLamar.

Footz, whose writing and research into her subject spanned nearly ten years, will share her insights into this amazing and complicated woman whose social circle included acclaimed figures such as Vladimir Nabokov, Salvador Dali, Ludwig Bemelmans, George Balanchine and Eva Le Gallienne.

Registration is required for this event and will close on October 18th at 3:00 pm. Register here.
